If someone files for bankruptcy in the UK are all debts treated within the proceedings or just debts which are scheduled in the filings and/or owed to creditors who are notified?
How are contingent liabilities treated? If someone had given a warranty before filing for bankruptcy and then failed to schedule it or notify the person to whom the warranty given, is the obligation to perform under the warranty compromised by the filing?
