Reason for DWP payment

While gathering data to fill in my Tax Return, I noted in my Bank Statement (Barclays) that I received a payment of £10 by Bank Giro Credit from the Pensions Service. My normal State Pension payments have a payer reference of "Dwp Rsp", but this payment had a payer reference of "Dwp Rxb".

I did not receive any postal notification of the payment, so I do not know the reason for it and, specifically, whether it is chargeable to Income Tax.

Does anyone know the interpretation of "Rxb" (and Rsp for that matter) and whether this payment is declarable please?

It is your Cristmas Bonus, not taxable.

Thank you. (So the xb stands for Xmas Bonus then, presumably).

Do the banks charge DWP per letter? Why on earth can't they spell it out.

When I got my last income tax refund it showed on my statement as just "SA".
