ACA Programme in China

Dear All,

I'm a CPA from China. We here have an ACA programme of ICAEW. I've passed the entrance exam. But I don't know whether or not to take it.

The tuition fee is RMB45,000(USD5,625) totally and all to be paid in registration. And I still need to spend around RMB25,000(USD3,125) on travel to finish the programme. Anyone who pass the subjects during 1st year will receive a trainnee position with trinnee salary paid in UK to finish the last one, advance cases. Anyone who failed in the beginning curses maybe will not get the refund of the tuition. BTW, People who successfully complete its requirements will receive scholarships to a value of RMB 26,000(USD3,250).

At the same time I have to prepare to ask many exam leaves during the 2 years programme and will get a huge salary deduction from my present firm.

Shall I take it ? Anyone could give me some kind suggestions ? I have to make the desicion this week. My email: snipped-for-privacy@gmail.com.

To qualify as an ACA, you need to take the qualification at the same time as you are employed by an authorised training organisation. This enables you to combine your academic knowledge and examination success with real-world practice and work-based learning. CPAs participating on this programme will require only 2 years' approved work experience. It is straightforward for your employer to become authorised by ICAEW as a training organisation - for more general information, see
