Please share the information widely for observation by the well wishers of Accountants so that 2009 will see an official World Accountant's Day on November 10th, duly recognized by IASB and all Professional Accounting Regulatory bodies of every country all over the world.

Come, let's recognize the contributions of our beloved accountant to our personal and business needs and to the society we live in!

It's wonderful that you care about World Accountants Day. But it's so close to National Insurance Day and World Freedom Heritage Day or National Peanut Day? or Festivus?

Does not really matter if it's close to some other day. What really matters is the historic relevance and reasoning of the day and that should motivate everyone of us to push forward for the day to be designated for Accountants worldwide.

Hope this helps.
