Does anyone have a software application that I could plug a CUSIP, a purchase price for a bond, and a commission, and have it spit back the details of
1) The initial costs to purchase the bond, including payment of accrued interest and commission
2) The schedule of coupon payments and principal repayment
3) The effective annual yield
4) The effective annualized yield to maturity
Most sites like investinginbonds.com appear to only calculate yields based on purchase price and do not back out the accrued interest. And at minimum investinginbonds.com is very hard to read. I want an application that makes the calculation of the costs and payback very straightforward to read and present to others.
I'm willing to pay about $500 for this.
