I contribute to a significant portion of my Brazilian parents income, however it seems that there's no way that I can claim them as dependents or to account the amount contributed as any form of deduction, isn't there?

The would-be dependent has to earn less than the personal exemption amount (in '07, that was $3400), you have to provide more than half the dependent's total support during the year, and the dependent has to be a citizen or resident alien of the US, Canada or Mexico.
So, probably, no.
