What are the best options for software that would allow you to track multiple portfolios and also provide guidance about the diversification of the portfolio? I'm looking for a tool that would be more along the lines of what a money manager would use than something to track an individual portfolio.

I don't use them but some common applications are Advent or dbCAMS for portfolio management and reporting, or Morningstar's products (like Principia or Advisor workstation). M* bought dbCAMS so I don't know what's happening to those apps. Some of the account custodians like Fidelity or Schwab have their own applications too.
