I currently have a euro denominated account at everbank, but, unfortunately, it does not pay a good enough interest. I am looking for a better paying euro denominated account. I want to buy substantially more euros in addition to what we have owned for the last 2 years.
Two questions.
- Any one have any specific suggestions for a bank with euro accounts?
- If I transfer money from the everbank account to another account, would I be subject to a capital gains tax if everbank sends me a dollar denominated check.
