Peachtree for Manufacturing questions

If anyone has experience with Peachtree for Manufacturing, please help.

I know and love the regular Peachtree, but I want to know if the Manufacturing version can handle things like Bills-of-Materials, raw material stock, WIP, finished goods, stores inventory, and even scheduling agreements (e.g. ship 1000 pcs every 3rd Monday). Also, we ship large quantities via long-haul trucks (no UPS packages).

Any limitations I should know about?

We have been using Peachtree Mfg for about 18 months. We do all of our scheduling externally to Peachtree and our shipping is almost exclusively UPS. But we have been very happy with way the inventory module behaves. The BOM in 2005 allows easy revisions that we use extensively to build with alternate parts - the older version did not allow BOM revisions once any assemblies had been built. They had to be copied into a new part number and revised there. Building and unbuilding assemblies moves inventory seamlessly between raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

The only feature that is really missing is a drill down through the various assemblies to show whether or not there is sufficient inventory at the lowest levels to fill a sales order. It shows only if there are enough finished goods to fill the order. It doesn't look to see if there are enough subassemblies and raw stock to build them. But I don't really expect to see this added, it would start competing with MAS90 and their higher priced programs.
