I've written several add-ins that I haven't deployed because they all suffer from one particular behavior. When I have my COM display a message box or a window, it is always behind the POS screen.
I've toyed with some Windows API functions, but I haven't quite received the behavior that I want. Ideally, whatever message box or dialog I display, I would want it to be modal to the POS screen and of course on top. At the very least, I want the message to be on top. I can use an API to make my dialog the topmost window of all open windows, but it feels like bad form.
Any advice?
