Please add an Inventory Wizard Task called 'End Sale Pricing' in order to mark the ON SALE field to FALSE (unchecked).

Well you can always do something creative like those items or groups of items that you no longer want to be on sale change their sales start date to Start on 1st January 2080. By then you will not be there to worry about this. More importantly as the item only hold one sales date your current sales date will be overriden.
