Making items inactive en mass?

With over 30,000 items divided between scores of stores, I would rather not make items inactive one at a time through the interface. Does anyone have experience with this. I have looked in the item table and found fields that appear to be boolean (0 off/1 on) for Inactive and DoNotOrder, but didn't immediately recognize one for "Do Not Sell". Any input?

Thanks.

Have you looked at the DRS Toolkit for RMS found here?

Didn't see anything that fit the bill at the link, but thanks for giving it, as it does have some stuff worth checking into. :)

All I'm really looking for is the field that triggers the "Do Not Sell" option. Then I can write the query to update that field (along with the Inactive and DoNotOrder fields) on multiple items all at once, in order to deactivate them in HQ, and then send them down to the stores as a 51 worksheet (execute sql statement).

I would assume that those fields would just need to be set to 1 for "checked." If that is incorrect, I would need to know that too. :)

Thanks.

We have an application that allows you to edit RMS item properties from a sort of spreadsheet view. It has filters and copy/paste functionality that might make this really easy for you. Feel free to email me directly if you'd like to have a look at it...It's called the Product Attribute Manager (PAM). snipped-for-privacy@nitrosell.com
