How does RMS deal with products that have multiple color/size combinations? For example a given shoe may come in sizes 1-12, and in black or brown, so there would be 24 different combinations. Sizes 1-10 may be in one price range, and the larger sizes may cost more. Does each of the 24 combinations of size/color for this shoe just get entered as a new item? Idealy i would like each one to have it's own ID, but I also want a way to link them all together for searching and reporting purposes? How do other people deal with this?

RMS Supports what it calls "Matrix Items", with up to 3 matrix dimensions (Size/Color/Width). Each Size/Color Combination would be an individual item, but there is a "New Item Wizard" which allows you to create all of the combinations automatically. You can edit the individual items just like any other "Standard" item or you can open the "Matrix Item" to view edit them as a group. There is an Add-in called the "Fashion Bundle" that extends the built-in support for Matrix Items - make sure to ask your reseller about that.
