Mary-Pat,
See the attached report.
Copy it into the Program Files\Microsoft Retail...\Store Op...s\Reports folder. If Manager is open, close it and then re-open it, find the report in the Custom section, Item Movement with OnHand and Reorder #
Yikes - I now see where I have to focus my markdowns! Thanks a million.

this might help
*********************************** select itemlookupcode, item.description from item left join transactionentry inner join [transaction] on [transaction].transactionnumber=transactionentry.transactionnumber and [transaction].storeid=transactionentry.storeid and time > getdate() - 30 on item.id=transactionentry.itemid where itemid is null order by itemlookupcode *********************************** note that th list u will get will contain not sold items even if they r not available (qty on hand=0)
See my request today in the thread:
Re: quantity on hand needs to be included in item movement report
All we need is an item movement report that does not omit items without movement. Or better yet, one that lets you specify movement as a filter field.
Is there a way to modify the report to display items if they haven't sold AND if it has no movement associated with it during a timeframe?
For example if item X has 0 quantity sold and 0 on hand, but a case of it has been delivered to a different store, it will show on the report, but item Y with 0 quantity sold and 12 onhand with no other movement won't show up.
