One of the most useful reports for our store is the Sales Summary report which gives the toal quantity for a specified period of time. What I would really love to see is a report like this but that is able to display the quantity sold each month/week/day over a specified period. For example I would love to be able to see how many widgets sold in each month over the past 6 months.
That way I can plan purchasing based on the sales cycle of seasonal items. I would also love to be able to set reorder points that reflect seasonal fluctuations. For example the reorder point for Jan is 10, Feb is 30, Mar is
60, Apl is 25 and May is 10.
Is there a way to do either of these things and I just can't figure it out or am I out of luck?
