Transfer an entire shops stock out for 1 category

I have de-listed several categories in one shop, and now want to transfer out the whole stock to another branch, regardless of whether the other shop "needs" it from the ReStock Levels.

Is there an easy way of doing this, preferably through HQ but otherwise at Store level.

Hi Chris,

There are various solutions:

Solution 1 - Go to HQ and use worksheet 330. Select those categories that you want to transfer whole stock to the other store. Leavethe qty to be transferred as 1 on all those category and finish the worksheet. Then when the worksheet shows you go to the middle tab and on the 1st line of editing where it says the quantity to transfer you right click with the mouse and select formula. The Formula will be the Quantity and Source + 0 to be transferred to Destination. This will pick up the whole stock from those category. Only problem is that QTY of stores at HQ [that comes from dynamics table] may not be accurate where you can look at solution 2.

Slution 2 - Go to store 1st. Run a Value report where you organise the report to be organised in this way so the fields line up exactly as: ItemLookUp code - Description - Quantity. Export this report as a CSV file. Open the CSV file in Excel and delete any other column apart from the 3 mentioned here. Then in the excel file create 2 additional columns after Quantity. Call the 4th one Qty at setination and 5th column QTY to transfer. Then make a formla in excel and make QTY to transfer to be equal to the QTY field at store. Then save this and re-export this out as a CSV

Then you go to the HQ and you create a Transfer Out Worksheet [WS330] and you select the option to do this transfer manually. Go to middle tab of WS that is created. Right click on mouse in the gray area and select the option to import and you can import the tab delimited or Comma delimited Excel export that you had done. This ensure that what is being transferred matches the exact stock.

Hope thsi helps
