Can I set default items in a receipt

I'm using quickbooks in my retail store. However, I only enter daily summaries for receipts. So, at then end of the day I have about 8 items that I enter and their respective values. My issue is that every day I have the same 8 items and have to set up the receipt from scratch each time.

Is there a way to have default items show up in a blank receipt so I only have to enter their values?

Enter all your normal items like a template. Go to Edit > Memorize Sales Receipt. Now when you go in each day to enter your sales go to Lists > Memorized Transactions. Highlight the Sales Receipt then hit the Enter Transaction key at the bottom.
