When I make an entry in an invoice I would like to add a second related item on the next line automatically with total calculated by the first.eg if line 1 is Do-Hicky Block 25 qty then line 2 is automatically Do-Hicky Block Screws qty 50,Both Do-Hicky Block and Do- Hicky Block Screws are already in the items list.Is this possible as QB doesnt seem to have macros.I have QB Pro 2010 on W7.
You want a "group" which allows you to sell items together (under a separate item #). Very easy. Check out the help discussions in your version.

If you can use groups for your things, yes.
Create a group: Do Hicky Q2 Do-Hicky screw Q1 Do-Hicky block
Then when you change the group quantity on the invoice it will calculate the number of things in the group.
