I've got a question, I just started a home-based business, how much of my mortgage payment can be used as an expense for my business? And do I post the whole mortgage payment or just the portion to my business on Qbooks?

Speak to your accountant.
Allan's response is the best you can possibly get in a newsgroup. Home office expense deductions for tax purposes are traps for the unwary. There are too many things to consider to begin to answer accurately here.
