Due to a reconciliation I have a $40 balance in my Opening Balance Equity account. I beleive I should probably zero this out for the end of the year. Do you agree and what is the best account to charge it to?

Most people believe that OBE should never have a balance in it. Double click on the entry and research the entry out of balance causing it. Correct the entry and your mysterous $40 balance will disappear.
