I began having to withhold state payroll taxes on an employee last quarter. I found that when I ran my payroll tax reports that the report is not picking up the state withholding tax on the employee. I found the amount listed under current liabilities on the balance sheet but I would like to know how to get the amount listed on my payroll tax reports as well. I looked in the help index and can't find a reason it's not being picked up. Perhaps the previous bookkeeper deleted it? If so, how can I get it included in the report again? Thx for any help.
