We use qw 2003, please, how can I set up an account register showing the Interest and the principal payments. I realize it must be a split entry but am having problem setting it up. Thank-You

Do not recall the exact steps for QW03 but you start by opening the 'Loan' window, select 'New' and just follow the steps.
The wizard leads you through the process, starting with the question - did you borrow or lend money?, followed by setting up the new loan account. The wizard will set up the amortization schedule, recognizing the provision for a balloon payment.
