Cannot Create New Report From Existing Report

Quicken 2008 H&B R5:

I have a simple report that lists all transactions with a Category of "Charity". I use a custom date range. Last year I used 1/1/2006 to

12/31/2006. Last year I named the report "Charitable Donations 2006 by Account" and saved it.

This year I opened the report, changed the date range to 1/1/2007 to

12/31/2007, changed the title to "Charitable Donations 2007 by Account" and saved it with the name "Charitable Donations 2007 by Account". I had unchecked the Save History option when I saved it.

The report did not show up in the saved reports list. So I repeated the steps above and when I tried to save it under the name "Charitable Donations 2007 by Account" Quicken said the report already existed and did I want to replace it and I said yes.

The report still does not show up in the saved reports list.

Am I doing something wrong or is this just another bug in Quicken 2008 H&B?

I'm having similar problems in Q H&B 2006. I've always used one year's report to create the next year's but have had a lot of trouble this year, and what you are experiencing is one variation of the things I'm seeing. I really fear there is some corruption that gets introduced into the Quicken files, both your and my version, in the reports area, but I can't prove it.
