Changing a portion of a string within a subcategory

I have a number of entries that contain a date within multiple subcategories....such as: "home:2013 Maintenance", "home:2013 insurance", "home:2013 Oil Bills", etc. (This is really not exactly the situation, but it gets the point across.

What I'd like to do is get rid of the character string "2013" in each of these to end up with simply ""home:Maintenance", "home:insurance", "home:Oil Bills", etc.

I know I can *find* the "2013" in the category via FIND/REPLACE ('contains within' category Find), but I don't see how one can then simply *delete* (or change for that matter) that portion of the sub-string without specifying the entire replacement which isn't practical since I have a LOT of these "2013"s floating around in various differing subcategories.

Other than manually editing each, can anyone offer a hint on how to do it automatically? I doubt it, but before I go in an edit a slew, I figured I'd ask first.

Would this do perhaps?

Han = thanks but I don't think so - I want to delete a particular SUBSTRING in large number of DIFFERENT multi-level categories. The key point in that post is "All the transactions with that category should pop up.". There are MULTIPLE categories that contain this common substring that I wish to delete (again, just the substring, not the entire rest of the non-common categories).
