Gas cards no longer proving e-bills

I have 4 gas cards (Shell, BP, Phillips and Citgo) that notified me that they no longer offer e-billing through my bank (Commerce Bank) and will be sending bills through the mail again. Does anyone know why? It looks like they are all serviced through Citibank.

It was convenient being able to download information from one source rather than going to 4 different vendor sites.

Thanks, Dave

I have two credit cards that were taken over by CitiCorp. One is a gas card that had a 5% discount for all the 12 years I used it before they got involved. Within a year the 5% was no longer available. I haven't used either of the two cards in the 14 months since nor do I intend to.

I have a credit card application I've been meaning to take to my credit union. When it is issued, I will be terminating any contact with CitiCorp and plan on avoiding them from then on.

Have you considered the Discover Platinum Gas Card? At one time Discover also offered the same 5% back deal for Restaurant and Home Improvement Cards. The latter two are discontinued, but it looks like the Gas Card is here to stay:

I forgot that Chase still offers the Cash Plus Card, which also pays 5% back at gas stations. The card is not on Chase's web site, but you can still find it here:

I've had a Platinum Discover Card for a number of years and they sent an announcement in my bill a month ago about automatically receiving a 5% discount on gasoline purchases for the summer. I'll see if I get it off this next bill.

If Discover was accepted by all businesses, I would be happy with just that one card. They do business right. Alas, occasionally I need a Visa or Mastercard at a very few places.

I've bookmarked the site and will check it out later. Thanks.

Speaking of Credit Card changes, when did Credit Cards start adding 1% to 3% surcharge for currency conversion? Looking into a trip overseas and noticed this on all my cards! Are there any cards that don't apply this fee that can be used internationally (Visa/MC)?

Capital One *used* to absorb all international conversion fees, I'm not sure if they've changed:
