News Corp spinoff

I have some shares of News Corp LTD CL A (NWSA) that spun off into:

For every 4 shares into 1 share of News Corp New CL A. (NWSA). And the old shares were basically renamed to 21st CENT FOX CL A (FOXA).

I haven't found any info on how to distrubute the cost basis yet.

The only thing I've done in Quicken is rename the my old shares to 21st CENT FOX CL A (FOXA). Once I find out the prices, I figure I will do a Corp Spinoff transaction on a 1 to 4 basis.

Anyone have this stock and how did you handle it.

Thx, Art

I do not hold this stock but have entered similar transactions. The method you propose (rename the original, then enter the spinoff) will work.
