I am 75, will my RMD from a 1099R be eligible for the Cares act provision of spreading the amount over 3 years (providing I can claim Covid issues).
Every time I read about it, the early withdrawal penalty seems to confuse the issue for me.
I also returned some of the withdrawal. Also, how is the returned amt. applied, all for this year or is that spread out over the 3 years, it would be help.
