401k to Treasury Direct?

I would like to roll over about 200k from a previous employer 401k into something I could purchase T-bonds. Does Treasury Direct allow this? I know there are no commissions with them that why my interest.

TIA, Dennis ========================

Nope, Treasury Direct doesn't offer retirement accounts.

A little poking around suggests that some online brokers will handle treasury auction purchases for their customers at no charge. Try Fidelity.

If you don't want to buy at auction, any broker will sell you bonds from inventory, but then you pay what you pay which always involves some spread.
