Any reason not to refile 1040?

After sending in my tax return in April I got a corrected 1099div. The totals are the same, but now they are qualified. So I overpaid $150. Presumably I can refile and get a $150 refund. Is that correct?

Is there any reason (other than the nuisance...) not to do this? Does it increase my chances of an audit or anything like that?

Well, you file an amended return - Form 1040X.

It's your money. The IRS is just happy as a lark keeping it.

An amended claim for a measly $150 wouldn't even move the needle on the IRS audit Richter scale.
