Well, yesterday the Senate passed it too, and the bill goes to the white house next week for president's signature. The suspension is for tax year 2009 only; but who knows what the future may bring?

It's a nice Christmas present I think. The long haul effects of not having to take just one RMD next year are tremendous for my life expectancy. So, I'm happy.
