Cost allocation for Frontier Communications spin-off from Verizon

I am trying to figure out how to allocate my original cost basis of

800 shares of Verizon stock, into a new cost basis of 800 Verizon and 192 Frontier Communications shares. I don't know exactly what date and $$ to value the shares of either Verizon or Frontier.

Suggestions/help

Thanks, but that chart only covers cost basis through the Idearc nonsense. I have the cost basis of Verizon after that time, not I have to do the Frontier Communications mess as of July 1, or whatever date is the official split.

Oh, I'd suggest just be patient, and Verizon will update this website/worksheet. The thing is, by now they have all the info they need, but have to run it by the legal and financial folks before releasing it.

Fantastic! Iit was the 94% to Verizon, 6% to Frontier Communications reatio that I needed. Now I only have to apply that to the two different flavors of Verizon that I own, due to getting the stock from two different employee purchase plans from AT&T and related companies many (5) decades ago.

Thanks for the guidance!!
