Handling AMP spin-off from AXP

I had shares of AXP before the spin-off of Ameriprise (AMP). My brokerage sent a transaction to represent this as a stock-split of 13 (new) to 999 (old). I suspect the 999 is just a bogus number because one was needed. This is the only transaction that shows at the brokerage's web site as well. The transaction was downloaded into the correct Quicken account where the AXP shares exist. However, the new shares (13) of AMP do not show up in the Investing Center Portfolio View.

I'm wondering why the new shares don't show up in the Portfolio View since they are in the account's Transactions View. I suppose it likely to be because there was never a transfer in of shares; just this split transaction.

Can someone advise me how this should really be handled? I could do a "shares in" transaction and delete the split. If I remove the split transaction, will it reappear again the next time I download transactions?

Thanks,
