We purchased a home with energy efficient appliances. I know this may be a long-shot but:
Does anyone know if we can assess these for tax credits?
If maybe, does it matter if these are officially as rolled into the mortgage or can we estimate costs?
We purchased back in 2008 but I just figured this credit out using better tax software. If I fill out a 2008 tax correction, can I assume the answers to the above apply for 2008?
