Filing Extension

I did not receive all of my income statements, so that I could file by



15 April. I filed for an extension (IRS & CT atate), and sent in far more than I willl ever owe. Now I am going to file, but I am not sure where I put the payment made on 15 April. Sure appreiate any advise.

The payment goes on Form 1040 line 68, " Amount paid with request for extension to file."
