Anyway to find out whether I have filed tax for 2015? My TurboTax 2015 folder has a file with a .tax2015 extension. How do I know if that one has been filed? I don't owe any tax. So, I don't have to file. Still, it's good to file and I would like to know if I have filed.

Do you still have the TurboTax software for 2015 installed? If so, what does it say for the status of the file on the opening screen? If it says "Status: Return Accepted" you filed it. If it says "Status: Not Printed or E-filed" you didn't file it. If the status is anything else, you probably have to use another method.
You can call the IRS at 800-829-1040 and ask them if you filed for 2015.
Another way is to go to Get Transcript on the IRS web site and see if there's a transcript for 2015. If there is, you filed, and if there's no transcript, you didn't file. Here's a link to Get Transcript.
