Form 8825 and HOA Fees

All:

This is my first time filling out Form 8825 for a rental condo that I own. Anyway, my question is: Can you subtract out the HOA fees on this form or any form for that matter? Seems like it would be an expense.

Thanks,

JJ

Form 8825 is where you report rental real estate activity for either a partnership or an S Corporation. Why would you be using this form? Are you filing a corporate or partnership return?

If you are filing a corporate or partnership return and you can't answer this questions you in way over your head and I would strongly urge you to get professional help.

Assuming everything else is kosher, HOA fees are usually deductible on the rental scheduled.
