For the turbo tax, would I be to all of my families taxes on my computer or is it a one shot deal(each CD you buy is for only one tax return?)

Five federal returns can be printed and/or electronically filed. After that, you have to pay a fee for each additional return. E-filing of state returns requires an additional fee from the first return.

You can prepare and print as many federal returns as you want with no additional fees. You can also e-file up to five federal returns at no additional charge. The limit of 5 e-files is set by the IRS, and you cannot e-file more than that even if you are willing to pay extra.
