How to contact Turbo-Tax? // Is it true that it prints only ONE return this year?

Mar 11, 2009 5 Replies

This modern world is getting mean in NOT making thir phonee numbers public, especially in internet info and dvertising materials.

I have two special questions for them:

1- I receive two mail solicitatons under slightly doffrent names and I do not know which to repsond to.

2- is it true that this year, their software can be used to print out only one return?

What phone number do I call to resolve these issues?

Which ever name you like best.

No. Up to five returns can be printed and/or electronically filed. After that, you have to go online and pay a fee for each additional return. E-filing of state returns is not included. There is an additional fee for that from the 1st return.

They relented due to reaction. See the "NOW" yellow box in the bottom right of

I guess call centers are expensive to operate.

I believe this was originally true, but they backed down and changed it. Of course, you need to update the software ...

No, it's not true. You can prepare and print as many federal returns as you want with no additional fees. You can also e-file up to five federal returns at no additional charge. The limit of 5 e-files is set by the IRS.

To call TurboTax, go to:

On that screen, in step 2 click "Buying & Billing." Then scroll down and click Call Us to get a phone number.

It's still bulletproof! It's rayed out on my screen, and will not respond. Perhaps I should have to "Log On" as somebody special?
