get stimulus payments by interbank transfer, but paying taxes due by check

What if you owe taxes. So you fill out line 76 ("Amount you owe") and send in a check. But what if you want to receive your stimulus check by interbank trasnsfer as it is much faster and safer too? Should you fill out line 74b to 74d ("Routing number", "Type Checking/Savings", "Account number")?

My understanding is that wouldn't help. Those who receive their refunds by direct deposit to their personal bank account, or who pay by direct debit from their personal bank account, will receive the bribe by direct deposit weeks before the others who pay by check, receive refunds by check, or participate in RAL's.

Correct. Since I owe, as usual, I will have to wait till late June for WHAT IS rightfully DUE ME!

Yeah, they'll be asking for that back under the next administration.
