I understand that there is a credit or deduction for certain "green " improvements to home for this year. I put a new roof on in 2009, paying part in 2008 and the rest in 2009. This was to my vacation home, not my primary residence. Is there a deduction or credit available for med or does this only apply to primary residences? Please let me know where to look on the IRS website, as, being visually handicapped, and not great with internet searches, I could use some help.
