How should Lessee record reimbursement by Lessor

Tenant has signed a lease for a restaurant and spent about %50,000 for remodeling. The landlord also has paid the contractor $30,000 on behalf of the tenant. Should the Tenant book the total remodeling cost ($80,000) in his balance sheet or should he only book his cost as an asset ( $50,000)

What do you mean by "on behalf of the tenant"? Does the tenant pay the landlord back in addition to lease payments?
