I am to receive a one-time deduction for a charitable gift annuity set up in 2014. When I tell Turbotax this donation consisted of shares of a mutual fund, it wants to know my cost basis, etc, but the charity has already calculated my deduction for me. How can I enter my deduction and be done with it? Should I label it something other than "shares" to avoid Turbo tax questions?
