New Charita ble Contribution Deduction

Is there a way to show various dates on contributions for the new deduction for non itemizers rather than a list of various dates/

You don't have to show any dates. The charitable deduction for non-itemizers is limited to $300 in "cash" donations (cash, check, etc., not tangible or intangible property). You need to maintain appropriate documentation, but there is no place on the return to enter detail information.

TaxSayer asking for dates. With multi dates, a real pain. Must enter them on Sked A and it flows to 1040 automatically.

Enter one donation for the total amount to a charity named "Various charities," with any date in 2020 that you choose. For cash contributions, only the total amount actually goes on your tax return. All the rest is just for your records.

Since only the amount is carried over to the actual return, I would just enter into Tax Slayer "Cash Contribution" with a date of 12/31/2020 and the dollar amount.
