No K-2

The managing partner is refusing to give another partner a K-1 for last year. I found Form 8082, though reading through it and the instructions that doesn't seem to be what is needed.

I would have thought the 4852 would be appropriate, but it doesn't seem to include K-1s.

What am I missing?

Thanks.

According to Stuart O. Bronstein snipped-for-privacy@lexregia.com:

That makes no sense. If the partnership filed its 1065, it included all of the K-1's, and there's no reason not to send out copies to the partners.

In my experience K-1's are often very late so you have to get an extension and wait for them to show up. Any chance the managing partner is just slow and hasn't sent out K-1's at all?

Alternatively, they did file the 1065, there is no K-1 for the guy, so he wins, no partnership income for the year.
