Roth IRA Question

My employer now offers the option of contributing to a Roth IRA. Is there a tax advantage of contributing to a Roth through my employer?

Thanks

If you file MFS or your AGI is too high to open a Roth IRA not through your empoloyer, this is the way to contribute to a Roth IRA.

What is the maximum annual contribution amount allowed in this plan?

Do not the same limitations apply to any ROTH IRA?

I've thought an employer plan can set a lower value or skip the catch up.

Do you perhaps mean a Roth 401(k)? It is a little different.
