My client recently told me they need to attach a Schedule H to the Form 1041 I am preparing for an estate. The year end is 9/30/08; the return is on extension thru 6/15. Are wages paid in all of 2008, rather than those paid thru 9/30 reportable on Schedule H?
For a corporation on a fiscal year from 10/1 to 9/30, they would include on their tax return only employee salary and taxes during that same period. So I guess the same applies to your 1041, that is wages from 10/1/2007 to 9/30/2008.
