Problem with Form 2210 in TaxCut 2007 Premier

I installed the most recent update for TaxCut 2007 on January 11th and I noticed what appears to be an error in Form 2210. I checked the box to use Schedule AI and I put the correct amounts in each column in the AGI line on that

In Form 2210, the Mini-Worksheet for Part IV (taxes withheld) above line 18 shows that I had taxes withheld on 3/31, 6/30, 9/30 and 12/31 with the correct amounts in each column. The mini-worksheet just below that (estimated tax payments) shows the same dates and amounts as in the prior Mini-Worksheet plus the estimated taxes that I paid on

1/10/2008. All of the dates and amounts are correct.

The problem comes in the mini-worksheet for Line 19.

Line a. (Estimated tax payments) shows the amounts that were withheld for 4/15/07, 9/15/07 and 1/15/08. There is nothing in the column for

6/30/07. I think that this line should only show the amount of estimated taxes that I paid on 1/10/2008 since that is the only estimated tax payment that I made.

Line b. (Withheld taxes) is blank in all columns. I think that it should show the amounts that were withheld for each quarter.

Line c. (Line a + b) is showing zero for the 6/15/07 column (b). Because of that error, TaxCut is saying that I owe a penalty.

Am I doing something wrong? If not, how do I notify TaxCut that they have a problem?

If you want, you can call their cust support line at

1-888-482-9288 (1-888-4TAXCUT)

Hours of operation: * Jan. 2, 2008, to April 20, 2008: 7 a.m. to midnight CST Mon. through Fri. AND 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. CST Sat. and Sun.

I use different tax software, so can't even try to view the problem, but I'd also suggest you look for further updates, in general they are issued right til early April. JOE

I presume you're not doing anything wrong, but who knows? GIGO. However, I suggest you go to

formatting link
and fill in their 2210 AI worksheets yourself. Print it out and attach it to your return as proof that you didn't need to pay the installment until the last quarter. Your return is not dependant on this form so it's O.K. to attached it to TC's return.

I think somthing you did is wrong.

First of all, you selected that you want to "treat taxes as paid when withheld" and then, you proceeded to enter amounts and dates AND after that you selected to "use annualized income installment method".
