Tax Planning Software

I am looking for tax planning software for a 1040 that can handle Schedule K1 and real estate investments. An ideal package would let me:

1) Create "accounts", such as a brokerage account and identify that entity by some useful name.

2) Create more than one tax form against each account. So a brokerage account might have a 1099-DIV, 1099-INT, 1099-B, etc.

3) I would then want to be able to print out both the estimated 1040 as well as worksheets showing the composition of each entry in the 1040.

I am using the above just as a planning tool for estimates. The actual return would get transferred to Lacerte eventually. I don't use the Lacerte planning tool because it is not extremely user friendly. The beauty of the above requirements is that any lay person can do the work and just do data entry against forms they are receiving from each account.

To be more specific about Lacerte Tax Planner, where it falls apart for me is how it implements partnership K-1s. It does not even preserve the line numbers of the K1. So mapping a complex oil and gas partnership K1 to the planner is extremely cumbersome.

It's really important that I find a tax planner that makes data entry for the K1 information extremely transparent - particularly by matching the line numbers of the K1, as well as the input codes for lines that take multiple inputs.
