Will this trigger Wash Sale Rule

Joint regular account with my wife, under my SS number. Suppose I buy XYZ 2 weeks ago and sell it today at a loss. I want to buy it back, but that will disallow that loss due to wash sale
rule. So, instead can I:
1) Buy it back under my IRA account. I assume this has the same effect, triggering the wash sale rule. Correct?
2) Can I buy it back under my wife's IRA account and avoid the wash sale rule?

No to both. You must wait more than 30 days.
