Alternative to PO Boxes

One of my businesses is such that I only want to offer a telephone, postal and email service therefore this would point to a PO Box for my mail. However I am aware some would feel there is something dodgy about a company only with a PO box and wondered on ideas for alternatives.

I have traded with full office address disclosed but find casual callers take an awful lot of staff time taking them away from handling similar enquiries by post and phone but in much greater numbers.

Any thoughts appreciated.

What about one of those London business adresses that are always advertised in BA inflight magazines. I believe you pay a certain amount of money for say, a W1 address, and they'll forward all your mail to you.

Bit pretentious, but hey that's London...

Well, if someone does not wish to use a PO box, there may be two reasons

1/ Wishing to hide from clients. But not the law, you cannot hide from the law, so if you do anything wrong or dogy, any customer can go directy to the police and majority of mail forwarding address will give out the name and address I am sure of it.

2/ Simply it may be just people only wanting to operate a telephone or mail order business..

An example is some of the internet websites, you can't get direct phone access to them even. I think ebay is an example..
